We invite you to pray for the ministry of Malaysian CARE and for the needs of the poor & needy in our communities.

Prayer Points for this Month (April 2024)

PC Kota Kinabalu & Kota Marudu
WEEK 1 April 1-7, 2024

  1. Pray for the commencement of our Flourishing Journey Programme with our new partner.

  2. Pray for the Sabah team that will be involved in the National Economic Empowerment Conference as task force members.

  3. Pray for the success of income generation projects in Kudat and Pitas, which aim to benefit the community by supplementing their income and ensuring food security.

  4. Pray for the Special Needs Education team’s preparation and planning as they venture into Job Coach work in Sabah, specifically collaborating with SMK Bahang, Penampang.

  5. Pray for the Education team as they provide support to teachers at Tadika Mekar. May this partnership yield fruitful outcomes.

Human Resources
WEEK 2 April 8-14, 2024

  1.  Pray for the HR position to be filled with the right candidate.                                                                                                                                              

  2. Pray that we will positively influence the lives of our co-workers and community.                                                                                                                

  3. Pray that the upcoming Silent Retreat will be a refreshing time for the staff attending.                                                                                            

  4. Pray for the staff of CARE to have wisdom and discernment in carrying out their work. Also, pray for the good health, joy and happiness of all staff and their family members.                                                                                                                                                                                 

  5. Pray that God will call many to serve as staff in Malaysian CARE. May they respond with boldness and faith.

Setapak Community & Youth

WEEK 3 April 15-21, 2024

  1. Pray for good health and the protection of God to cover the Setapak staff team as they engage with the community on the ground.

  2. Pray that the staff team can execute the annual plans set for 2024 with godly discernment, unity and oneness in Christ.                                     

  3. Pray that the community members feel God’s love and presence tangibly through our programmes and engagements, both within and outside Pusat Sumber Komuniti CARE (PSKC).                                                                                                                                                                   

  4. Pray for the community youth graduating from secondary school, that they may have access to higher education and receive the support needed to afford their education.                                                                                                                                                                               

  5. For the youth who are graduating soon and seeking employment, pray that they make wise choices in their careers and experience favour with good opportunities.

PC Kampar & Ladang CARE

WEEK 4 April 22-30, 2024

  1. Praise God for a committed Ladang CARE volunteer who passionately shared his knowledge, skills and energy with the Kebun SEHAT team. Pray for God to inspire the team to set an example for their communities in terms of food security and sustainable income generation.

  2. Praise and thank God for two new volunteer teaching assistants in the education team. Pray for God to grant them His vision, strength and passion to serve the children in Deek Penaniy.

  3. The Education team is refocusing their Deek Penaniy syllabus to support early childhood education. Pray for God to use this focus to reach out to the Orang Asli children, preparing and equipping them for mainstream primary school.

  4. As our Youth Empowerment team plans for our yearly Kem Belia (Youth camp), pray for God to inspire and guide the team toward His will for the Orang Asli youth in terms of life purpose and leadership, helping them gain perspective and confidence in themselves.

  5. Kampung Tibang, Mualim was chosen to be an exemplary village to its surrounding neighbours. Pray for God to unite the CARE team, churches and the community as we work toward the betterment of the village as a whole.
